Are you ready to become a PADI Professional?!
The PADI Divemaster course is your first step into a new world, where diving is your day job and the ocean is your office!
Becoming a PADI Divemaster is a huge achievement, and is a goal on many divers wish lists. You'll develop your skills, increase your abilities in the water and your confidence as a diver will go through the roof!
The PADI Divemaster course consists of theory sessions, skill development sessions and formal assessment. Some of these sessions will be conducted with just you, your fellow DM candidates and your Instructor. Other sessions will be conducted with 'real' certified divers (under the supervision of your PADI Instructor) so that you can apply your theory learning to real life situations. Don't worry though, we'll never rush you through the course until both you and we are confident that you're ready to move on.
The Divemaster course can be run in several ways. Our most popular is over 4 to 6 weeks, full time, where you'll get hands on experience with real diving clients, the day to day operation of a dive business and spend a huge amount of time diving and learning about diving.
Also extremely popular is a 'part time' option, where you might spend a handful of days with us per month and complete the course over whatever time scale suits you best. This is great for a diver who has a busy 'real life', so perhaps is working their Divemaster course around other work or family commitments.
We always recommend 'over and above' with the amount of time you spend assisting and generally Dive-mastering, as you learn so much from just being around diving operations in addition to the formal learning structure of the course.
You have some digital learning to complete before the course starts through the brand new PADI E-learning program. This is an awesome, interactive learning platform that is then perfectly complimented by in-person teaching by your Instructor.
We hope you'll choose us to get your PADI Divemaster Qualification! If you have any questions or specific requirements just let us know and we'll happily answer them all for you.
Why explore with us?
We believe that your learning experience should be as fun and accessible as possible. That's why you'll find our courses have the FULL PADI e-learning as standard, meaning you get to cover the theory at your own pace before the course starts. But, don't worry - we know that Instructor time is essential to your learning which is exactly why we build in a theory revision session too, so you can ask us anything you like in person! Best of both worlds!
We're proud to work with Scubapro, one of the worlds top gear brands, who keep us fully stocked with their gear, so if you need to hire for the course you can be sure of quality!
So with us you get small groups, quality Instruction, full e-learning, no hidden costs and top brand name equipment.
Firstly, if you're tempted by a Divemaster course then feel free to get in touch and ask any questions you might have. Choosing the right shop for you and your DM course is super important, so a quick 'hello' email helps you to get to know us, and make sure we have the right 'vibe' that you're looking for before you commit.
Otherwise, simply book online, and soon after you'll get a confirmation email from the team along with some specific info, such as meeting times and locations.
You'll need to let us know some of your sizes so that we can allocate gear if you need any (at an additional hire fee) and complete the appropriate medical and liability release forms. Click here to download the PADI Medical form.
Also, while we can supply materials in a variety of languages, the course is taught in English so a good level of spoken English is required.
Please note that for the Divemaster course our minimum age is 18. You must also have a minimum of 40 dives, have completed a first aid & CPR course within the last 2 years and have medical sign off from a Doctor - all of which we can help arrange for you. Professional Divemaster registration with PADI is not included in the course fee, and is payable direct to PADI upon completion.
