June '18 Newsletter
Happy June! As we all know, June brings the first official month of Winter. But... as many of you know too, Waiheke likes to do Winter that little bit differently than the mainland!
That awesome 'microclimate' that we have here on the Island helps to keep us that little but warmer, which makes for more dive adventures!
Upcoming this month we have Rescue Diver Courses, a weekend trip to the Poor Knights, a Project AWARE Clean Up Dive and a PADI Open Water Course! Read below for more details of all of these.
May was a month of transitions for us here at Waiheke Dive. Hannah and Jake headed off for new adventures (although Jake didn't go that far, and some of you will have dived with him on this month'sAdvanced course).
This meant a little more diving for Adam and subsequently a little less time in the shop! Adam has enjoyed an Open Water course and an Advanced course this month, along with some guided dives and snorkelling!
When he wasn't in the water, Adam managed to attend the Mares Service Technician Course as you can see from the photo above.
This awesome course was full of information about the latest developments in Mares gear and it now means that we are an Authorised Mares Service Centre with Adam achieving the rating of Service Technician!
We also now have some totally FREE copies of the new Scuba Diver Asia Pacific magazine! This awesome new mag is great to read, with some stunning photography and interesting articles! Pop in store to collect your free copy, or order anything from our webstore and we'll put a copy in with your order!
