Shiny new toy alert!
The Deepblu Cosmiq+ dive computer has been making waves (ha! see what we did there...) throughout Europe and the States, so we're stoked to be able to bring them to you here in NZ!
We've been testing a unit ourselves for a while now, and love it. Easy to read 'negative' pixel-less display, fully rechargeable and comes in a sweet package with screen protectors, a spare strap and a protective case!
It's also fully compatible with Deepblu's app, so you can log your dives and share them with friends and family. The Deepblu app has also been backed by Waiheke Dive favourites Scubapro, so you can be confident that it's a solid and reliable platform.
It has several useful modes for your water adventures:
Scuba Mode measures and displays all vital dive data and performs decompression calculations for Standard Air and Nitrox dives.
Bottom Timer Mode
Bottom Timer Mode is an advanced gauge that measures current depth, average depth, continuous dive time and stage time. Average depth and stage time can both be reset with the press of a button.
Freedive Mode is designed specifically for freediving and includes a built-in surface interval function as well as adjustable alarms for depth and time.
Nitrox-capable, with the oxygen levels adjustable between 21% and 40%.
The Dive Plan function allows divers to plan out dives in advance, taking into consideration residual nitrogen levels between dives.
There are very few divers that wouldn't suit one of these. That clear screen is just a joy to read underwater so if the eyesight isn't what it used to be...
